Apply for Medicaid

You can apply for health coverage, including Medicaid and the Healthy Michigan Plan, through MI Bridges. Have your documents ready first.

   Log in to your MI Bridges account.

   Choose to apply for benefits and select Health Care Coverage.

   Enter your household members and their personal details.

4. 04

   Enter income for everyone in the household, using your pay stubs.

   Answer the questions about insurance, expenses and citizenship or immigration status.

   Review everything, then sign and submit.

7. 07

   Save your confirmation and upload any proofs you are asked for.

   Watch your mail and MI Bridges for a decision or a request for more information.
